We have been told that cutting the trees is a violation and we could be fined as much as $2000.00 per tree.We had also heard that there is a proposal to cut the trees so the salvinia isn't trapped.

If the trees can be cut or are going to be cut we would like to add our little part of the lake to the cutting schedule or if permitted, we will cut them ourselves.Thank you for your feedback on this question.
